![]() The only kernel related stuff I can see in syslog is this : Mar 3 09:38:27 kronos kernel: exiftool: segfault at 8 ip 00007fb481a87ef8 sp 00007fffe17b0c60 error 4 in libperl.so.5.18.2 File Size specifies the size of the given file which is 37 kB. Directory specifies the path which is the current working directory. File Name specifies the name of the file which is Tux.png. ExifTool Version Number specifies the version of the tool which is 11.10. Does anyone know which application could make the SMP system freeze with no output in syslog ? As we can see there are a lot of metadata from a simple png file. First: i wrote exiftool on the terminal but ubuntu didn't found it Second: the command line exiftool -TagsFromFile src.jpg -all:all dst. It is not an hardware failure because the problem persists after moving everything to a new machine. I use exiftool on ubuntu and I've installed from the ubuntu software center. ![]() ![]() My web server is crashing every few days unless I disable SMP with "nosmp" parameter in Grub config. ![]()
